Woodland Construction FAQ's
1. General Questions:
What size timbers do you use in your structures?
For all of our standard pavilions we use real, solid timbers—never thin or undersized lumber.
Our standard sizes include:
-
8x8 posts and headers
-
6x6 trusses and rafters
For larger or wider projects, we upgrade to:
-
8x10, 10x10, or 12x12 headers
-
10x10 posts
-
6x8 truss chords and rafters for added strength
If a customer prefers a heavier, more beefy timber look, we can upsize materials accordingly.
